Ingredients

  • 1 yellow onion
  •  20 g fresh parsley
  •  1 clove of garlic
  •  750 g chicken
  •  40 ml olive oil
  •  10 g salt
  •  10 g ras el hanout
  •  3 g black pepper
  •  3 g paprika powder
  •  2 bay leaves
  •  1000 ml water
  •  125 g carrot
  •  1 red bell pepper
  •  150 g zucchini
  •  125 g peas
  •  300 g orzo
  •  butter
  •  olives

Instructions:

  1. Chop the garlic, parsley, and onions coarsely.
  2. Chop the onion, parsley, and garlic together. Blend finely.
  3. Clean the chicken.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Combine the onion mixture, chicken, ras el hanout, black pepper, and paprika. Fry for two minutes. Combine the bay leaves and water. Cook the pan on high heat. When it has boiled well, reduce the heat to low. Continue to cook for 25 minutes, covered.
  5. Cut the carrot, bell pepper, and zucchini into small cubes.
  6. Combine the carrots, bell peppers, zucchini, and peas. Cook the pan on high heat. When it has boiled well, reduce the heat to low. Continue cooking for 25 minutes, or until the chicken is tender.
  7. Carefully remove the chicken from the pan and transfer to a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush the chicken with butter. Preheat the oven to 250℃ and cook the chicken for 10–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Take the pan of sauce. Add the orzo to the sauce and mix quickly. Place the lid on top.
  9. Cook the Orzo for 15–18 minutes, or until the orzo absorbs the water. Allow this to stand for 15 minutes. I like to keep the lid on it.
  10. Spread the orzo on a big platter, Then place the fried chicken on top. Garnish with olives.
BESAHA!
