Hot chicken with ras el hanout
Want to prepare something simple for today? Then I recommend these easy hot chicken sandwiches! They are a quick weekday snacks because they require no time of preparation.
Ingredients
- 20 ml olive oil
- 250 g chicken thighs
- 3 g salt
- 4 g ras el hanout
- 2 g cumin powder
- 2 g black pepper
- 0.5 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 25 g soy sauce
- 10 g hot sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
- Chop the red bell pepper and onion. Grate the garlic. Cut the chicken thighs into small cubes.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add the chicken pieces, salt, ras el hanout, cumin powder and black pepper.
- Mix together. Fry the chicken almost done.
- Add the onion, bell pepper and garlic.
- Fry it along for 5–6 minutes. Add the soy sauce and hot sauce. Fry everything together for a few minutes.
- Serve it on a sandwich.
Tips
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Replace hot sauce with a hot pepper or a little cayenne pepper/chili powder.
- Serve with fresh greens.
- You can also marinate the chicken overnight.
