Vermicelli with chicken and prawn

Ingredients

chicken marinade
  •  225 g chicken thighs
  •  2.5 g salt
  •  2 g black pepper
  •  2 g onion powder
paella pan
  •  40 ml olive oil
  •  1 yellow onion
  •  1 bell pepper
  •  1 garlic clove
  •  25 g coriander
  •  1 small tomato
  •  200 g prawn
  •  3 g turmeric
  •  2 g black pepper
  •  3 g cumin powder
  •  3 g paprika powder
  •  3 g salt
Extra
  •  1 chicken stock cube
  •  400 ml boiled water
  •  50 g peas
  •  150 g vermicelli
  • garnish
  •  prawn
  •  lime

Instructions:

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into big pieces. Place the chicken in a large bowl and season with salt (2.5 grams), black pepper (2 grams), and onion powder. Mix them till well blended.
  2. Skin the onion and tomato. Cut all the vegetables small.
  3. Heat the olive oil in the paella pan. Add the chicken. Cook the chicken on both sides for a few minutes until golden brown. 
  4. Combine the onion, bell pepper, garlic, cilantro, and tomato. Fry the vegetables until softened. Combine the prawns, turmeric, black pepper, cumin powder, paprika, and salt. Fry for a few minutes.
  5. Put the chicken bouillon in a deep bowl and add the cooked water.
  6. Add the broth-water to the sautéed vegetables, then the peas and vermicelli. Mix everything together. 
  7. Turn the heat to high for 8 minutes (uncovered), then reduce to low. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce is completely absorbed by the vermicelli.
  8. Garnish with prawn and lime.
Tips
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add vegetable to taste as desired.
- Add a hot pepper, cayenne pepper to taste if you like spicy.
