Avocado smoothie

ZAZAA (Za3za3)! This Moroccan smoothie with avocado and nuts is the perfect healthy boost for an active day in the sunshine! Every time I drink one, I feel full all day! It has everything you need to get your day off to a healthy start!

Ingredients:

2 Servings

  •  1 avocado
  •  50 g dates
  •  15 g walnuts
  •  15 g pistachios
  •  15 g cashew nuts
  •  10 g honey
  •  650 ml milk

EXTRA
  •  strawberry
  •  kiwi
  •  banana
  •  chocolate sauce

Preparation:

  1. Cut the strawberries, kiwi, and banana into slices.
  2. Peel the dates. Cut the avocado in half lengthwise, around the pit. Turn the avocado halves in opposing directions to split them. Remove the pit. Use a spoon to scoop out the flesh. Put this in a blender.
  3. Blend the dates, walnuts, pistachios, cashews, honey, and milk. Mix for two minutes.
  4. Take a glass and squirt some chocolate sauce down its edges. 
  5. Add slices of strawberry, kiwi, and banana. Fill the glass with avocado shake. Decorate the zaazaa with nuts, whipped cream, honey, or other toppings of your choosing.
Tips
  • Replace the milk with almond milk.
  • Add nuts according to your flavor preferences.
  • If you want more protein, add a scoop of protein powder, Greek yogurt, or almond paste to the mixture.
  • If you want a cold shake, add a few ice cubes to the blender for a refreshing texture.
  • Dried fruits like apricots and figs can also be tasty additions.
  • Grated coconut or coconut milk can lend a tropical flavor to your shake.
  • Honey can be eliminated, but I enjoy this flavor!
