Moroccan language

Moroccans speak a variety of languages, the most notable being Darija, an Arabic dialect.
It combines multiple languages (mostly Arabic, French, Spanish, and Berber). 

In fact, it is such a jumble of languages that most Arabic speakers outside Algeria and Tunisia cannot understand Moroccan! I am very much a supporter of learning Darija. So, if you love Morocco, if you have Moroccan family or friends, give Darija a try!

I recently discovered learnissimo and I truly like it, I believe this is an excellent tool for novices. It displays the words in English, then pronounces them in Darija, and finally displays the word in Darija along with the accompanying action. (If you wish to study another language, there are numerous options available!

For individuals who want to learn how to read and write standard Arabic, Madinah Arabic is a great free resource to get started. Darija is rarely written in Arabic script; instead, it is typically written in Latin script and phonetically spelled out using letters to replace sounds that do not exist in other languages.
